Code of Conduct
The shared expectations that make GoKoach a place where Coaches and Learners can do real work together, safely, respectfully and on time.

GoKoach connects ambitious Learners with experienced Coaches across Singapore. The platform works only when both sides show up in good faith. This Code of Conduct sets out the baseline expectations for anyone using the platform — whether you’re booking a Session or running one.
1. Respect
Treat every Coach, Learner and member of the GoKoach team with respect. Discrimination, harassment, intimidation, hate speech, or any conduct that targets a person’s race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability or background is not tolerated. This applies equally in Sessions, in the in-app messaging system and in any review you leave.
2. Show Up
When you book a Session, treat it like an appointment with a friend who respects your time. That means:
- Be on time. Late arrivals shorten the Session and waste the other party’s time.
- Give notice. If something genuinely comes up, cancel as early as you can so the slot can be re-released.
- Show up prepared. Learners: bring the questions and context that’ll get you the most out of the time. Coaches: bring your Session materials, your camera-ready presence, and your structure.
3. Be Honest
Honesty isn’t optional. Specifically:
- Coaches must accurately represent their qualifications, experience and what a Session will deliver.
- Learners must accurately complete profile information and any pre-session questionnaires.
- Reviews must reflect a genuine experience — not retaliation, not promotion, not bots.
4. Validate Attendance Through the Platform
Every confirmed booking issues the Learner a 4-character PIN. Coaches validate attendance by entering that PIN at the start of the Session. This is the only way Coach payouts unlock, and the only way the Learner’s Ticket is consumed. Do not work around it.
5. Keep Transactions On-Platform
Coaches must not solicit Learners to book or pay outside GoKoach. This rule protects everyone — the dispute-resolution, attendance, review and refund systems only work when the transaction lives on the platform. Violation may result in suspension or removal of the Coach account.
6. Protect Confidentiality
Coaching often touches on personal goals, finances, health and relationships. Treat anything shared in a Session as confidential. Don’t share recordings, screenshots or specifics about another person’s Session without their explicit, written consent.
7. Safety First
For in-person Sessions, Coaches are responsible for ensuring a safe and appropriate venue. For physical-activity Sessions (fitness, boxing, pilates, etc.), Learners should disclose relevant health conditions in advance, and Coaches should refuse to proceed if the risk is inappropriate. If something feels unsafe, end the Session and contact us.
8. No Promotion of Harmful Content
Listings and Sessions must not promote violence, illegal activity, regulated medical advice from unqualified parties, financial schemes outside applicable regulation, or anything that endangers a Learner. Coaches are responsible for ensuring their offering complies with Singapore law.
9. Reporting and Enforcement
If you experience or witness a breach of this Code of Conduct, report it through the contact form. We investigate every report. Confirmed breaches may result in any of: a private warning, removal of a Listing, suspension of an account, permanent removal from the platform, or referral to relevant authorities.
10. Updates
This Code of Conduct evolves with the platform. We will post an updated version here whenever it changes; continued use of GoKoach after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Code.
